Buenos Aires Guided Tango Trip from 13 to 28 August 2013

Tango-OK is organising a guided Tango trip to the heart and soul of Argentine Tango - Buenos Aires.

From 13 to 28 August 2013 (World Tango Championship takes place in this period)

Trip Includes:
* Daily group lessons and practicas with renowned maestros (all levels catered for)
* Daily milongas
* One shopping tour
* One city tour
* Taxi costs
* Tango-OK's continuous assistance to you
* Cost per day per person: 120USD

Conditions:
* Cost excludes flights, visa and accommodation.  Tango-OK can assist you in selecting these.
* Flexibility for you - minimum tour commitment is 3 days.  You can join us from 3 days or all 15 days.
* Minimum of 5 participants required for this tour to take place.
* Registration starts now and ends 31 May 2013.
* Non-refundable deposit of 360USD required by 31 May 2013.  Payment by cash or bank transfer.
* If the minimum number of participants are not reached and the tour is cancelled, full refund will be made.

Practicas are traditionally used as an occasion to learn, practice, experiment and improve your Tango in a casual environment.  Unlike the milonga, the codes and ethics of social Tango are not necessarily observed.  These codes are shared and learnt through conversations and practice here at the Practicas.

Dancers of all levels (as young as 1-day old!), can comfortably attend the Practicas, where instructors Oliver & Lin are readily waiting to answer all your questions.

Beginning 9 January 2013, Tango-OK brings to the Tango Community in UAE, Practicas @ The Fridge - the ideal environment to practice and improve your Tango in a relaxed way.

Practicas are traditionally used as an occasion to learn, practice, experiment and improve your Tango in a casual environment.  Unlike the milonga, the codes and ethics of social Tango are not necessarily observed.  These codes are shared and learnt through conversations and practice here at the Practicas.

Tango Mini-Workshops for Technique Improvement

Starting January 2013, Tango-OK will conduct regular Mini-Workshops focusing on technique improvements.

These workshops run with a minimum of 2 couples, and maximum 3 couples.

Registration is necessary.  Individual registrations are welcomed and we will pair the couples.


Dates & Topics:

A) Saturdays 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th January 2013 from 2:30pm to 4pm

Topic:  Walking
Elegance, control and maintenance of balance, shifting of the weight, preservation of the axis.


B) Saturdays 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th January 2013 from 4:30pm to 6pm

Topic: Embrace
Tango de Salon close-embrace, connection with the partner, maintenance of own axis, sharing of space.


C) Sundays 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th January 2013 from 7:30pm to 9pm

Topic: Embellishments
Natural embellishments based on appropriate interpretation of music, stops and pauses - for men and women.


D) Thursdays 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st January 2013 8pm to 9:30pm

Topic: Turns
Correct techniques to apply in turns (to the left and right) for men and women, maintenance of axis and balance, sharing of space, provocation of entradas and sacadas.


Costs:

120AED per person per workshop; OR
440AED per person for a 4-workshop package taken in sequence.
